For FNAF, duh. xD
But I was just thinking, there`s the whole theory about there being two killers because of the minigames in FNAF 2 (there are 2 different Purple Guys, if you didn`t know). Here`s what I think....
Springtrap and Goldie were the very first animatronics, obviously. The first Purple Guy, the mastermind and the one in Springtrap, convinced his coworker that the Fazbear Corporation had to be squashed. Eventually, both the Mastermind and the minion do murder the kids...how? Using the two golden suits.
Think of it though. Why would Goldie be there if he wasn`t the one that killed the kids? Obviously Springtrap is the killer, but what is the significance of Goldie? Why does he appear in the first two games? Because he was the sidekick trying to stop you from getting to his boss. Now, I may be over-thinking things here, but with Cawthon anything`s possible.
Think of the FNAF 3 office. Goldie is torn up and outside your door, doing absolutely nothing. Do you think that it could be that he`s stepped aside for Springtrap, or even paying the price for failing on stopping you?

It is a good theory but also in the phone calls it says that these rooms were closed off and sealed. And also he would of known of the springtraps inside springtrap's body and that it was dangerous to go into as mentioned by the phone guy. Now purple guy didnt know of these springtraos inside the body when he took shelter in them so he died. Also the golden freddy suit wasn't dangerous therefore purple guy used that suit.
