Literature Text

A shrunken, gray figure crept across ashen rocks, it's shadow cast for a few yards beyond it. With a bright yellow moon behind it and a fiery volcano threatening the land beyond it, the whole thing seemed kind of eerie and pre-apocalyptic. Besides the rays of the moon above, darkness shrouded the area, creating an atmosphere of haunting and mystery. The little figure, forever in a crouched position with hunched shoulders, murmured to itself as it propelled itself over multiple rocks and boulders, eventually coming to a stop on top of one. It was the very rock that had slivers of moonlight shining upon it, each thin band shining on his grimy face. His hooked nose was dripping with snot, and his pale blue eyes were rimmed with red. It was obvious that the pitiful thing had been weeping.
The creature's long, gnarled fingers curled into a fist in front of it`s sweaty chest as it came to a stop. Thin black strands of hair hung around the edges of it`s head. The ribs and spine were so easily spotted, and it wore a small tattered loincloth around it's waist, connected by a frayed string. The enormous eyes widened and looked up to the midnight sky. The light showed how skeletal it looked from lack of food, and its` yellowed teeth were crooked. It almost looked like a small vulture without its` feathers.
"Oh, my preciousssses is gone," it moaned. "My poor, poor precious is gone. Those stupid, fat Hobbitses took it away, stole it!" Globs of spit flew out of its mouth, and the forsaken brute tensed for a moment. Its` eyes narrowed as it looked to the side for a moment, a then smile creeping upon its` lips. The entire expression changed in less than a moment.
"No, no," it soothed sweetly, "our Precious can be found. Those Hobbitses went to Mordor, not so far, my sweet."
It nodded vigorously to itself, facing the water and watching itself. Hope lit up in its` eyes as it looked upon its` own image. "Yes, yes, my - I mean, our - Precious can be found again!" It trembled for a moment, spitting and growling "Gollum! Gollum!”. When it had regained its` composure, it continued its conversation. The dingy critter`s expression turned grim as it asked the other an important question.
"And what will we do of the Hobbitses?" the poor soul soul so sweetly asked, the grin quickly fading away. It grew irate and turned away from the water, crawling onto the multiple rocks. They crackled underneath its` besmirched digits and knuckles.
"Once Smeagol gets his Precious, the Hobbitses don't matter. Master betrayed him, betrayed him to the fat Hobbit!"
Smeagol look utterly shocked. It appeared as though he actually, sort of liked the one Hobbit. The squalid thing turned around, facing the calm waters once more. "But, we shan't...kill...the Master? Only the evil little Hobbit?"
"No...Master must pay for what he's done." Smeagol nodded. His grungy toes gripped the edge of the rock on which he sat. Nothing, nothing at all, should get in the way of the Precious. It became clear to him, the importance of his Precious. Hearing shrieks and flapping of heavy wings, Smeagol hobbled off with a bird squawking in his iron grip. In a luscious tone, he began to sing to himself in glee.

 "Little Hobbitses, out to play,
Soon they won't see the light of day.
They will pay, they will pay,
Smeagol must get the Precious, some how, some way."

When the flapping of the birds` wings had finally miffed him enough, Smeagol stopped and grasped an edged rock. He brought it down, pulverizing the bird`s head. Satisfied, he continued on his way, bird hanging limp from his grasp. Smeagol hoped that soon, it would not be the bird in which he held dead in his arms, but the putrid, verminous Hobbits, and the Precious around his neck.
I made an older version of this around a year ago. I re-read it, and hated it, so I remade it. I basically added a little more, and made it more descriptive. :>

It features Gollum/Smeagol (if you haven`t already guessed) from Lord of the Rings.
